Welcome to Eagles’ Nest (Before and After School Care)

A Brand-New Before & After School Program at Tualatin Valley Academy

We’re excited to introduce Eagles Nest, a fresh, reimagined before and after school program that’s replacing our previous BASE program. Designed to support working families and provide students with a safe, enriching, and engaging environment, Eagles Nest is here to help your child start and end their day feeling calm, supported, and ready to soar.

Program Hours

Open Monday–Friday:

Morning Drop-Off Starts: 6:30 a.m.

Afternoon Pick-Up Ends: 6:00 p.m.

Morning Eagles Nest (Before School)

Drop-off begins at 6:30 a.m.

  • Soft music and calm free choice activities

  • Table toys, coloring, books, and games
    15-minute movement block (students choose: a short fitness workout, track walk, or quiet reading)

  • Walked to class by staff

Afternoon Eagles Nest (After School)

Open until 6:00 p.m. (Mon-Thurs) and 5:00 p.m. (Fri)

  • Arrival activities: puzzles, crafts, play-doh, and more

  • Snack time (provided or brought from home)

  • Outdoor free play (required for all students)

  • Homework help, independent reading, or educational games

Program Cost

$5.75 per hour

Any portion of the first hour is billed as an hour.

After the first hour you are only billed for the time spent in the Eagles Nest.

Drop-In Anytime — No Pre-Registration Required!

Eagles Nest is always open when you need it.

No need to sign up in advance.

Eagles Nest Check-In/Out Information:

When checking students in or out of Eagles Nest, each authorized pickup adult will need their own FACTS System ID Number. Please find your ID number before the first day of school so that you are prepared for an easy drop off/pickup from the Eagles Nest.

To find your unique ID number:

  • Log in to FACTS Family Portal

  • Select Family from the left-hand menu

  • Select your name from the drop down menu of your family members

  • You’ll see your ID listed as:

  • ID Number: System: XXXXXXXX

If you need to add or change any authorized pickup adults, or want to make sure someone has an ID number, please contact the front office.
