Get Awesome Family Photos | Support Music Education
Two birds, one stone. Get a great deal on family portraits just in time for Christmas card season, and support music education at the same time.
Michael Blackburn takes most of the photos on TVA’s website and social media. He and his wife Rachel have also done wedding, maternity, newborn and family photography, as well as portraits. Being that Mr. B also directs TVA Bells, they decided to donate their time to help raise funds to support TVA’s handbell choirs. The choirs are in need of new cases, bell repair, and other equipment.
The deal:
A 20 minute family photo mini-session for a minimum of a $75 donation. (Most professional photographers in the Portland area charge $150-$200 for a similar session.)
What do you get?
Professional quality family photos, done in 20 minutes. You’ll receive around 8-10 digital photos to use however you wish within 1-2 weeks of your session.
The knowledge that you’ve supported music education (Yay!).
Things to know:
Mini sessions are just that - mini. Because of the 20 minute time constraint, plan on only one type of photo (family photo OR individual portraits of up to 3 people). If you’d like to do both, book multiple sessions.
Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can start on time and take full advantage of your 20 minutes.
The set can be dressed up or down, so anything from church attire to Christmas PJs will work!
We will not be able to accommodate wardrobe changes.
We’ll be in the technology studio in the upper grade building. Enter through the gate near BASE, go into the building, take the first hall on your right labeled High School (follow the Christmas music!).
Payment needs to be made in cash or checks at the time of the session. Checks can be made out to Tualatin Valley Academy, with a notation that the donation is for TVA Bells.
If the first day books out, we will schedule a second day.
