TVA T-Shirts For Sale
TVA t-shirts and mugs are for sale now in the school office! Show your Eagles pride with one of our t-shirts, long sleeve shirts and/or coffee mugs. Cost is $6.00 each. We have youth small, medium, and large. We also, have adult small, medium, large and extra large.
Remember, Spirit Day is every Thursday so make sure you wear your TVA shirt on Thursdays!
Are You Going to Be On Campus? Please Sign In!
All Parents and visitors MUST sign in at the front office and get a Visitor or Volunteer Pass when on school grounds. This includes bringing lunch to your child, having lunch with your child in the cafeteria/classroom, or when volunteering.
Our annual magazine sale will kick off on Friday, September 9th! Please note that all magazine orders are due on Friday, September 23rd. Prizes will be passed out on Wednesday, September 28th in the school lobby in the morning. Thank you for supporting our Home and School.
Now that the new year has started, special days and celebrations will start coming up such has birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, weddings to name a few. Consider buying SCRIP as a gift and by doing so you will also be helping TVA.
Don’t forget that you can also use SCRIP as a way to thank people that go the extra mile for you. Let SCRIP help you give a wonderful gift to those special people in your life. If you are thinking of helping someone who is going through some hard times, you can also purchase SCRIP to do so.
Remember that SCRIP is a STRESS FREE way you can buy a gift and a way to help someone out. All you have to do is pick what you want to buy from the order form attached to this flyer and turn it in with your payment to the front office on Tuesdays.

Turn in days are every 3rd Tuesday of the month by 10:00 a.m. and pickup is on Friday of the same week. To download the order form, click here.
In an effort to keep costs down for our families, TVA does not accept credit cards or debit cards as a form of payment. We only accept checks and money orders for payments over $25.00. We accept cash for payments of $25 or less. Thank you for your understanding!
Parents with students in K - 9th grade just a reminder that in order for you to be able to participate in any school field trips, coaching and/or volunteer in your child’s classroom, you need to turn in the Oregon Conference Volunteer Information Form ASAP.
If you have a child in our preschool program, you need to complete the CBR form and mail it to the address on the form. When you receive your approval please bring a copy to the office.
This form is used to run a background check on adults that want to help out at school/go on field trips. If you need one, please stop by the office or call the office and we will be happy to mail you one.
Does Your Child Walk or Bike to School?
If you would like for your child to walk/bike to and from school, make sure you complete a permission slip at the front office. Parents need to complete one every school year.
Just to clarify that lunch served in the cafeteria is not included in the school tuition. Your child can have lunch from the cafeteria at an additional charge that will be added to your school bill provided your account is up to date.
The fees are...
Preschool & Kindergarten: $3.50 each
1st to 6th: $4.25 each
7th & 9th Grade: $4.75 each
Kids who forget their lunch will get hot lunch from the cafeteria and the charge will be added to your account.
If your child is going to another student’s house after school, please make sure that the office has a written note giving them permission to do so or give us a call.
This also applies if your child is going to a birthday party with another student right after school and if your child is carpooling with another parent to an away game.
All play dates must be arranged at home and not during school or after school.
Will Your Child Be Absent? Please Call Us!
If for any reason your child will be absent, please call the front office at 503-649-5518 or e-mail at email@example.com.
If Your Child is Sick
The Public Health Department informs TVA of conditions for which children are to be excluded from school until either recovered or diagnosed and cleared for inclusion by a physician. Unless otherwise indicated, students are excluded from attendance until they have been free of symptoms for 24 hours.
The conditions for exclusion are:
Chicken pox – excluded until at least six days after first vesicles appear or a doctor’s order, or all vesicles are dry (which ever occurs last).
Common cold – excessive coughing and nasal discharge.
Fever of 100 degrees or greater.
Fifth’s Disease – excluded with fever.
Flu - excluded with acute symptoms, fever chills.
Head lice – excluded until free of nits.
Impetigo – excluded until 48 hours of antibiotic therapy, and as long as sores drain.
Measles – return with doctor/health dept. permission.
Meningitis – return with doctor/health dept. permission.
Mumps – excluded until swelling disappears.
New onset of rash with concurrent or preceding fever.
Pink eye – excluded until eyes are clear with no discharge.
Ringworm – excluded until therapy is initiated.
Rubella – return with doctor/health dept. permission.
Scabies – excluded until treated.
Stiff neck or headache with fever
Strep throat – excluded until 48 hours after antibiotic therapy is started.
Prearranged Absence Form
During the school, if your are planning on going on vacation and your child will be absent from school more than 1 day, please make sure you complete a prearranged absence form 1 week before the event. This will give teacher time to prepare the work your child will be missing during his/her absence.
