Dear Parents,

First announcement for next week is that our first Kindergarten Preview day is on Tuesday of next week on the 14th. This means we will have some visitors in our class for the morning of the 14th. Also next week I have another meeting so I will be gone on Thursday the 16th. Finally, I will put out a sign-up sheet to bring food and other things to our Thanksgiving party which will be on Tuesday the 21st of November.

In class we have a full week next week. Our letter of the week will be “W”. In math we will continue to focus on numbers 6-9 as well as the basics of addition. In social studies/science we will be ending our unit on fall/trees and going into a Thanksgiving theme. I’d also like to thank all of you for a great quarter and a good round of Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Sincerely

Dear Parents,

Several announcements to make for the next couple weeks. The first is next week on Friday we will have our first ArtSmart project. This is a really good volunteer opportunity. It will start at 12:30 and go for the rest of the day. If you are interested in volunteering just let me know. Next Friday is also our turn to do chapel, so your children will be participating in our chapel program. Also next Friday is our second spirit day and the theme will be Pajama Day!

Next announcement is I will be at a teacher meeting next Wednesday so there will be a substitute that day. In class next week our letter of the week will be “s”. We will start a new chapter in math dealing with numbers 6-9. Our new social studies/science unit will be dealing with the fall season and harvesting.

Sincerely
