Dear Parents,

Remember our 100th day of school is this Monday! Please don’t forget to bring your child’s 100 collection in the bags sent out last week. We will be doing lots of fun 100 day activities. Tuesday of next week is another Kindergarten Preview day so we will have more guests.

We are also planning a Pajama Reading Day for Tuesday, February 20. We will send out more information next week but basically this will be an all-day reading day where the kids will bring in their favorite books. We also have two field trips coming up. We have our OMSI trip on Wednesday, February 28 which goes along with our unit on the human body. We also have Kinderkonzert Monday, March 5.  Look for permission slips for those two trips coming soon.

In math class we are still working on subtraction. In Language Arts our letter next week will be “V”. And in social studies/science we will start a unit on the human body. As always let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

Thank you,

Clark L. Woodworth

Dear Parents,

First announcement for next week is that our first Kindergarten Preview day is on Tuesday of next week on the 14th. This means we will have some visitors in our class for the morning of the 14th. Also next week I have another meeting so I will be gone on Thursday the 16th. Finally, I will put out a sign-up sheet to bring food and other things to our Thanksgiving party which will be on Tuesday the 21st of November.

In class we have a full week next week. Our letter of the week will be “W”. In math we will continue to focus on numbers 6-9 as well as the basics of addition. In social studies/science we will be ending our unit on fall/trees and going into a Thanksgiving theme. I’d also like to thank all of you for a great quarter and a good round of Parent-Teacher Conferences.

Sincerely

Also next week I will put out a sign-up sheet for Parent Teacher Conferences which will be on the 6th and 7th of November.
