First Annual School Work Bee

We need your help!

Come help us paint the cafeteria and front lobby, stuff folders, and do whatever else we can to help the teachers and staff get TVA ready for this next school year.

2017 Walk-A-Thon

We are excited to announce that TVA will be having our 8th annual Walk-A-Thon on Friday, April 28th!

Each year Home and School uses funds raised at this event to benefit the school. Past projects have included re-paving the parking lot and upgrading the elementary school computer lab. This year we are raising funds to renovate the Spynergy Room in the upper grade building. It will be a classroom space that doubles as a professional presentation, performance, and recording space to support our journey in being a STEAM school, and it will be used by all students at TVA.

Walk-A-Thon pledge sheets went home on Friday, April 14th. Our goal is for each student to raise $150. If we work together, we can not only meet but surpass our $30,000 goal!

We also need volunteers for this event! If you are available please join us from 8:30 a.m. - noon on the 28th.

Feel free to contact Angie Peterson by email at or by phone/text at 503.523.8115 if you would like to help.

Happy 100th Birthday Tualatin Valley Academy!

On Wednesday, February 22nd we celebrated our 100th birthday! It was the 100th day of school and also Wacky Wednesday of Spirit Week, and a good time was had by all.

One hundred years of high quality Christian education is definitely something to celebrate!

Jump Rope for Heart

Every year at this time Tualatin Valley Academy devotes an entire month to the American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart event.

The AHA is dedicated to building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Considering heart disease is the #1 killer in America, we feel this is a cause worth supporting.

This fundraiser is our chance to give back to the community we live in, therefore 100% of the funds raised will go to the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease and stroke. Each student has been challenged to raise $15 for the AHA.

In PE class, our overall goal at TVA is for each student to learn to live a life full of movement. Jumping rope is one of those movements. For this unit, we are challenging every student be able to jump 100 jumps non-stop.

Our Jump Rope for Heart event is scheduled for Friday, March 17. Classes who reach their goals have the chance to win a variety of prizes, up to and including getting to silly string their homeroom teacher, Mr. Chamberlain AND Mr. Tillotson at chapel!

Thank you so much for your continued support of Eagles Athletics and for supporting the American Heart Association!
