Student Scholarship Fund

1X3+TVA+Logo.jpg

What if…

Every child who wanted to come to Tualatin Valley Academy could afford tuition.

You can help make it happen!

At TVA, we believe in our Christ‐centered education. We want to make it available to anyone, regardless of their financial state. While there are some financial assistance opportunities in place, not all students qualify. In order to make our school more affordable to those who need it, we have set up a special scholarship fund. This fund will fill in the gaps and keep our kids here at TVA.

There are a couple of ways to build this fund. One is to give a tax‐deductible donation. Another fun way is to purchase some cool TVA logo gear. All the profits from the sale of the TVA gear will go directly to this scholarship fund. You can show your school spirit AND make it possible for our school to grow!  Please stop by and check out what we have to offer. We have some great TVA hats, frisbees, fidget spinners, guitar pics, pencils, bpa‐free water bottles, bumper stickers, and magnets.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Fundraiser

word-cloud-936542_1920.jpg

At TVA, we believe that a major part of any strong Christian is the ability to have compassion for the world in need around us. That is why we have partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help raise funds for cancer research.

Each student at TVA has been given a "piggybank box" to collect loose change. Please help our students fill and refill their boxes by January 19, 2018.

Thank you for helping us show compassion and care for those around us.

Mr. Chamberlain, Mrs. Halversen and the Student Council from TVA

SCRIP - Fundraising That Doesn't Cost a Dime!

SCRIP font approved.jpg

Did you know that just by shopping at your regular stores you can earn money for TVA?

Through the SCRIP program, if you purchase gift cards to your favorite stores TVA can earn a percentage back.

For example, if you spend $25 a week at Fred Meyer and you use a gift card purchased through Scrip, the cost to you would only be $25 a week, but TVA would earn $1 for that week. Multiply that by 52 weeks and the school earns $52 for the year just from one family. If we could get 100 families to buy their groceries using the Scrip gift cards that would be over $5,000 a year of additional funding for TVA!

SCRIP funds go towards facility upgrades. In the past money earned from the Scrip Program has been used to buy air conditioner units for classrooms and the cafeteria and an upgrade to the Staff Work room.

We will be placing the first SCRIP order on Tuesday, September 18th at 10:00 a.m. Orders can be picked up on the Friday of the same week.  Remember all SCRIP orders must be turned into the office no later than the 3rd Tuesday of each month by 10:00 a.m. and prepaid.

Click here for the order form.  Checks can be made payable to TVA. If you have any questions, contact the front office.

Thank you for supporting our students and our school!
